Well it looks like the Liberal view is taking it's toll...
The banning of God in school. The monopoly of Darwin as the only version of creation, the halt of corporal punishment in favor of TIME OUT... Has worked miracles with our children in school..
Grades are falling, child violence is rising, school shootings are up. Respect for self and others are at an all time low..
And as this control was not enough. Liberals use the occurrence of true child abuse as an excuse to legally stop parents from using any corporal punishment in the home...
Spanking is NOT the primary tool for child discipline but it is a tool not to be thrown away as useless..
Liberals have curbed the ability of Judges to deal with misbehaving adults.
Now they are curbing parents from dealing with misbehaving children..
The real world does not glow in this Utopian dream that liberals would have you believe there is if only you follow them. We are starting to see this dream for what it is in how children are coping with the REAL WORLD...
In the real world, policemen do not hand out goodies at every stop sign for your compliance to the law of stopping.
Now I'm going to extreme here, but look at the crime rate of countries that follow Islamic law. Hmmm. Cutting off a thief's hand if caught seems to work as a deterrent not only for him but others. Far better it seems than time out (Prison). Floggings seem to work equally as well.. My point here is that talking does not always work to curb antisocial behavior or breaking the rules of cohabitation with others.
If you remember the old joke; "Spank your kid everyday, you may not know why , but they do...."
Joking aside, spanking is, when used correctly, most often welcomed by a child as a finality to the punishment.. A climax if you will to the consequence. No pain no gain type of thing. Now everything is right between me and my parents type of thing, I paid for my mistake...
Time out works as long as there is respect for the one giving the punishment. If this is all they can do to you then there soon becomes a lack of respect...
99% of adults do not feel that spankings by their parents were harmful but were helpful and for the most part proved the love the parent had for them...
Despite liberals view, parents still, for the most part, know what their child needs in a given situation as a consequence, not the state... Look to the states handling of many children and the terrible things they have been forced to endure as wards of the state...
This idea of liberals has now become a tool for children to hold over parents, a threat of turning parents into police for real or made up corporal punishment against them... Fine business...

Get rid of religion and effective punishment, and you can do what ya want in the world. You will have no respect for yourself or others, you will have little respect for life other than your own. You wil have no guidelines to live by other than the law of the fittest. You will live with others just like you.....
